Jojoba Oil

This is actually a liquid vegetable wax obtained by cold-pressing the fruits of a plant native to the Sonoran Desert (Arizona), used for hundreds of years by Native Americans as a natural medicine and for facial and body beauty.

It is a non-greasy oil that, thanks to its chemical structure consisting of linear chains, penetrates easily and deeply into the epidermis, fights the atrophy process of elastic and collagen fibers, and restores the skin's natural tone, elasticity, and softness.
Jojoba oil revitalizes, regenerates, and soothes irritated skin, strengthens it, and prevents wrinkles. Its ease of absorption and great ability to penetrate through the small pores of the epidermis leave the skin smooth and silky thanks to its moisturizing properties.
For this reason, it is used in natural cosmetics pure, or combined with other vegetable oils to make them more absorbable, or as a carrier for essential oils, or as a prized ingredient in homemade creams.

 
Face care: its ability to penetrate perfectly into the skin without leaving a greasy residue makes it particularly suitable for facial skin to counter the premature aging of tissues. In the case of dry, sensitive, and delicate skin, which is most at risk of wrinkle formation, jojoba oil counteracts the effects of time, in particular preventing and reducing wrinkles. It should be applied daily to clean skin with a light massage, either pure or added to your usual day cream.

Hair: it is recommended to distribute a few drops of jojoba oil along its entire length, massaging gently at the ends. Leave on to act for about an hour and then proceed with washing. Its use helps nourish and strengthen hair, preventing the formation of split ends. For this reason, it can also be used in minimal quantities after shampooing on dry hair to polish and soften it.

Use in cosmetic products:

- Excellent against wrinkles, thanks to its strong oxidizing power that acts against free radicals, helping to smooth out facial and neck wrinkles over time.

- For dry or chapped skin, the moisturizing and emollient action of Jojoba oil protects the skin from the harmful effects of the environment, including sunlight, especially during the winter months.

- As a UVA-UVB ray protector and tanning agent, in the summer months it can be
applied before and after sun exposure, preventing and/or soothing sunburn and
giving the skin a long-lasting tan.

- For oily and acne-prone skin, as it promotes the regular functioning of the
sebaceous glands.

- Regular use, before and after pregnancy, prevents stretch marks by keeping the skin soft and elastic.
